Defending national champion Clemson visits the Carrier Dome Oct. 13, three weeks after Syracuse travels to LSU.

The Atlantic Coast Conference released the 2017 Syracuse football complete schedule on Tuesday afternoon. SU’s conference slate begins Sept. 30 at North Carolina State and includes road trips to Miami, Florida State and Louisville. Defending national champion Clemson visits the Carrier Dome Oct. 13. Pittsburgh, Wake Forest and Boston College also will play in the Dome.

SU’s four-game nonconference slate, highlighted by a date with Louisiana State in Death Valley on Sept. 23, had already been released. Syracuse will face more teams that advanced to the postseason last year (11) than any other team in the ACC. SU will also face five teams from the final Associated Press Top 25 poll. Syracuse’s bye week falls on Oct. 28 this year, Week 9 of the 2017 season.

The Orange, which has not had a winning season since 2013, finished 2-6 in ACC play last year and 4-8 overall under first-year head coach Dino Babers. In four seasons in the ACC, Syracuse is 9-22 against conference opponents.
